Part of my experience at Abraham Hostel in Jerusalem has allowed me to attend many of their tours they offer with Abraham Tours! I am loving my time in this city and being able to venture out on such interesting and enriching tours.
The Judean Desert Jeep tour has been one of my favourite trips as we drove out into the desert in a 4 x 4 bumping our way around the rocky scenery. During this time our tour guide passed an Arab Bedouin he knew personally. It was my lucky day though as he decided to stop to speak with us. Part of the tour is seeing bedouin camps, but it was a unique experience that we were able to stop to enjoy tea with this man and he then let us ride his gorgeous (and very sassy) camel named Lulu.
After having a great time eating cake and making friends with Lulu, we made our final stop at Ein Prat to swim in their natural rivers and man-made pool with real fish, that trust me if given the chance, will nip at your feet.
I wanted to keep this video short and sweet so I hope this gives you all a great overview of the amazing locations you would be able to witness if you were to decide to travel to Israel and book a tour with Abraham Tours. If you’re to do anything in Israel besides the religious monuments and Dead Sea, then a day out in the desert is mandatory and I have to insist you add it to your list!
